The first set of tourneys will be starting tomorrow. Would all tournament players please read the Tournament FAQ at http://www.pocket-monkey.com/help-tourneyfaq.jsp. Please do read the whole thing, but I want to make specific mention of these two questions:
The FAQ also answers questions about the format of the tourney, how the main time limit works, out the hard time limit works, how grace time works, etc.
Side note: If for whatever reason you need to withdraw from a tournament you've entered, you can do that any time before it starts from the tournaments page.

I just wanted to remind all tourney players to double-check the description and terms of the tourney, particularly the part where it says how many tourney games for that tourney you'll have going at the same time. That number could be higher than you think. For example, on the First Tourney, it has a section size of eight players and it's a "play each side" tourney, so that means you'll have two games with each of the seven other person in your section: 14 simultaneous tourney games, just from that one tourney. If you're signed up in multiple tourneys, of course the games tend to add up!
This info is shown (in bold text) on the tourney page, but I thought as this is our first run, I'd emphasize it.
