Also, any area which isn't a button on the board page control panel, links to Amazon.com when touched using the smartphone. I visit Amazon more times than you can poke a stick at it.
Why not just wallpaper this void area with Amazon logos so that we can play a new game: Don't fall in the Amazon.
I can't replicate the Amazon thing with my iPhone. What phone are you using, and where exactly are you clicking? I've tried clicking near-but-not-on the Send button, next to the message area, on the player names on the right-hand side, on the pip counts, basically anywhere I can think of. None of those places took me anywhere. If I click on a non-playing part of the board (like the place Backgammon checkers show once they've been borne off), it refreshes the page (this is one of the non-ideal things about our current DHTML games), but doesn't take me to Amazon.
Thanks. I have an Android phone somewhere, I'll fire it up, update it (oh, that's a question: what Android version?), and see if I can replicate the problem.
I have the same problem (I mean Amazon everywhere, I don't need to undo any cube). Android 2.3.3 is my version.
For the cube I would propose something like in DailyGammon: a checkbox to be ticked for confirmation before clicking on the button "Double". As an alternative, a popup window "Are you sure you want to double?"
offer a double and a little screen pops up that says are you sure...you can then either carry on or decide not too....well thats what happens on my games here
As an alternative, a popup window "Are you sure you want to double?"
That's what the Java games do. The DHTML games will do that when I replace them. -- T.J. Crowder First Primate Pocket-Monkey.com
