Hi Johnny. When i have used a public computer i get the messages underneath, was thinking it must be the non Java. version.
It maybe you have lost touch with your Java (Java can get very touchy :-) ) try re-install Java 6 though, not 7 as PM doesnot work with 7.

Good Luck, you may get more tech. adivce to follow if someone else can advice.

Hi,

The Java versions of the games have the chat area (messages) at the right. The non-Java versions of the games have the chat area at the bottom. If you're seeing the chat area at the bottom, it means you're using the non-Java games. We haven't made any change at this end.

The only reasons you'd automatically see the non-Java games are:
  • You've updated your profile (the Settings | Edit Profile link) and chosen "Web Browser (without Java)" or "WebTV/MSN-TV (not Java-enabled)". The choice you want is the default, "Java-Enabled Web Browser".
  • You're using WebTV/MSN-TV and we figured that out from the identification string your browser sends (presumably not, if you used to use Java).
  • You have a bookmark that automatically switches you to the non-Java games by having "?javaEnabled=false" in it. (Very unlikely.)
We don't automatically show you the non-Java games even if you don't have Java installed; you see a message saying you should install it (with a link to the non-Java games).

Hope this helps,
