All those who made it to Round 3 in the Tiny Tournament, pat yourselves on the back! You've made it ALL THE WAY TO ROUND 3!
Round 3 has some significant differences from Rounds 1 and 2. Unlike Rounds 1 and 2, Round 3 will be played with a *BACKGAMMON MATCH 5* game versus just regular Backgammon.
Below the matchups are listed for Round 3. Remember, the first player listed invites; PLEASE POST HERE WHEN YOU HAVE INVITED! If a player does not invite a player to a *BACKGAMMON MATCH 5* game within 7 days of me posting this message, or does not accept the invite within 7 days of the invite being sent, their opponent will be awarded the win and will be moved on to the next round in the tournament. Also, games are to be played with a *3 days time limit*.
In addition to this thread, all players who are to send out invites will be messaged telling them so.
BTW I will be going on vacation on Saturday May 27, and will return later in the day Sunday June 4th. So I will probably not be able to log on at all during that time. I also may not be able to get on much during the meantime until Saturday, as I will be busy packing--nonetheless, please continue to post when you invite for a game, and when the game ends the results of it as I will be updating the scoreboards when I come back.
Still waiting for sparky to send an invite.. and you will be off on the 26th which is the deadline. Did you send him a message to let him know he was to invite me? :-)
One more note: if she doesn't send it out within a week of the date I posted the original matchups message (round to the next hour to allow for the time between when I posted the matchups and when I sent the message), then please post here immediately, and I will get to it when I come back.
And remember this: I will still be home on the 26th, although I may not be able to get to the computer at all; however, there is still a good chance I will.
You're welcome. As I said, please keep on with all of your reporting and stuff like that, but please remember, DO NOT START ROUND 4 UNTIL I GET BACK AND ANNOUNCE IT. Round 4 will be the championship round, and as it is very important, it would be disastrous for people to start on it right away.
Okay, Sparky has now been officially eliminated because she has not invited BssLdy to a match within a week of me sending here a message saying to do so. I won't post the matchups yet because the bracket file is on a different computer (I'm on someone else's computer right now). Please stay tuned.
All right guys, I am now on the computer that has the tournament files on it (a laptop, I took it on vacation) and am thankfully, for today, in a hotel with free wireless internet access. Woo hoo! So here's an update--sparky has been officially eliminated, FYI.

Okay guys, you made it to the final! Either player can invite, if you haven't gotten one yet then go ahead send it out.
Please remember, however, that Round 4 will be a BACKGAMMON MATCH 9 GAME. Please remember to invite accordingly. If you invite for the wrong type of game then you it will not count and you have to play over again! Also, time limit will be three days.
Finally it is over! whew!! long one but I am not really complaining as I was the lucky one to win it. LOL :-)) BssLdy 9 RayLena 3
