There's a minor bug with the integration between the forums and the main Pocket-Monkey site: If you leave the forum window sitting there inactive for a long time, then do something within the forum window, you'll suddenly find you're not you anymore! Instead, you're the "Guest" user, and can't post messages.
I'll fix this, of course, but in the meantime when that happens just click the [Login] link that appears up in the upper right-hand corner of the forum window (it's only there when you're Guest -- next to [Help], which is always there). This will take you back to the main Pocket-Monkey site. Then just click Forums again, and you'll be all set.
One particularly irritating time this happens is if you take a really long time composing a message, and then click the "Post Now" or "Proofread First" button -- it shows an error saying it can't create the message and shouldn't have let you try. (This is -- again -- because it thinks you're Guest.) Just press the Back button, grab a copy of your lovingly-crafted message, follow the procedure above to get things back to normal, and go post your message again.

I've fixed this. If you have Pocket-Monkey's "automatic login" feature enabled, it no longer matters how long you leave the window sitting there; if not, you'll have to use the [Login] link to log in after you've been inactive for a long period of time. -- T.J. Crowder Pocket-Monkey.com
