We've made a small change to the site, based on an excellent suggestion from stretchboy: When it's your turn in any games, if you're on the Current Games page, the number of games you have ready for you is shown in the browser's title bar (e.g., the page title). That way, if you have Pocket-Monkey minimized in a browser window, on many operating systems a glance at the minimized window will show you whether you have games ready for you.
i like this new change and well done to stretchboy for the suggestion! sometimes i play the games and have other things going on as well and it lets me know without switching pages that there are moves to be made! nice one thanks!
Perhaps another little display item with that could be the time your next game times out...

This was a good idea thank you; however when we play the games, it doesn't show it (or at least on mine lol) thats where we need it so that we don't have to go back to the game sheet to see how many games we have left, is that possible? But I love how this site is improving. Excellent work.
We put it on the Current Games page so that when you're not on the site, you're just leaving it open in a window somewhere, you can easily see how many games you have waiting for you by glancing at the window's caption (or the tab's caption if you're using a tabbed browser).
Although we could add it to other pages, it would slow things down a bit (not much, you understand) because we'd have to count the games every time; the Current Games page already does that, so adding this to Current Games didn't involve any further work for the server.
I'll write down your suggestion about displaying how many games you have "ready" on game pages as well -- I'm going to be shaking up the game pages a bit late this year, and I'll see if we can do it efficiently then. Thanks for the suggestion! -- T.J. Crowder First Primate Pocket-Monkey.com

I think it would be great if this wonderful new feature worked with other pages, for instance, when I am perusing the forums, I wouldn't have to keep popping back to the main page to see if games are ready. However, having said that, one of the things I love best about this site is the speedy page loads. As convenient as it would be to have the game count on every page, I'm not sure I am willing to sacrifice speed. Regardless, this is the best site on the net!
I noticed the new Games Ready message on my PM tab this morning before I read your site message about it. GREAT new "Minor" feature, but it is really a major new feature for me. Two opposable thumbs up!!
I like the new feature! It helps me to keep track of how many games I have left while I'm playing! Great idea, stretchboy!! And KUDOS to T.J. and to Pocket-Monkey for implementing this change. WELL DONE ALL!!
I think that is such a great idea. Now i don't have to log all the way in then have nothing to do!
