There's a new tournaments page up today, a few highlights:
It only shows you the tournaments you want to see, rather than listing all 1,513 tournaments that we've ever run. This should be a bit easier on those with slower connections or more limited browsers. So for instance, you can say you want to see all Backgammon tournaments that are waiting for players to join, and it'll show you just those and not Checkers tournies, or completed tournies, etc. Just tell the site your criteria, click the "Show me the tournies!" button, and it'll show you the tournies.
If you have a certain set of criteria you're going to use over and over again, fill them in and click "Show me the tournies!" and then you can bookmark that page (add it to your favorites). The criteria will get used whenever you use the bookmark.
When you're looking at a list of tournies waiting for players to join, each tourney is listed with a checkbox. Just tick the checkboxes next to the tournies you want to join! If you're using a modern web browser, the site will sign you up right away (a message will appear briefly next to the checkbox). If you're using an older or more limited web browser, once you've ticked the boxes you want, click the "Save Signup Changes" button at the top. (Users of modern browsers will see that button disappear when the page is loaded, since they don't need it.)
On the page where you say what tournies you want to see, you can use the "Show full details" checkbox to have the show all the details of the tournies; by default the list will only have a summary. Users of modern browsers may not want to do that, though, because even if you don't choose to see full details at that point, you can expand a tourney in the list to see full details on it. (Older or more limited browsers will need to use the tickbox on the page where you give your criteria.)
I'm sure there will be the odd bug with the page, there usually is with new stuff -- if you run into one, just drop us a note (via the Contact Us page, not in this forum thread, please!).

Absolutely awesome!! T.J. ...worked like a dream. Have been wanting something like this for a long time as my browser was slow using the back button (twice) which is how I was signing up for tournies. You did a beautiful job with it.
