We're back! And at our new home. Sorry for disappearing so suddenly and for so long, but we decided to strike while the iron was hot.
Naturally, timeouts are off right now; we'll turn them back on on Monday November 16th.
Also, sometimes this kind of thing can confuse Java; if you try to go into your games and you see a box with a little X in it, please try these steps to fix it. (And let us know if they don't!)
So what happened? Well, we were planning to move the site to a new hosting facility next weekend and we had our new server standing by, when just before 17:00 GMT on Friday November 6th one of the network cards on one of our servers failed, taking the site offline unexpectedly. (This didn't involve any data loss, just connectivity.) In the normal course of things we'd just have had the data center replace the network card, but separately, another of our old servers was nearly out of room (part of the reason for the move) and we had this nice, shiny new kit just waiting for us at the new facility, so we decided to go ahead and move the site right away. It took a while, mostly because there's a lot of data to move.
So here we are, in our new home. You may find that even though you can reach us, some of your friends still can't; it takes a while (usually only a couple of hours, but it can be a couple of days) for everyone's computers to get notified when a website moves. During the interim, some people see the new site and some still see the old site (which has a message explaining this).
Hopefully you won't notice any difference, perhaps things might be a bit faster, but for most people their connection was the slowest part anyway so it won't make a difference. The new kit is much higher-specification, and separately we've made a few configuration changes that should help, too.
Please don't hesitate to contact us via the Contact Us page if you see anything that seems wrong; we're here to jump on it.

Glad your back, thought it was me, I was having some computer issues compounded by a very sick kitty, when I finally logged in I was ready to toss the puter out the window@@@@ Thought for sure at my end.
sort of hopefully my Missy cats better, will know with lab results tomorrow, its been a rough several weeks. now off to play!!
Glad to see you back again, I have missed playing on your site, so lets hope it is all fixed and you will never leave again... LOL, I don't know what I would do if I didn't have you to play on... I'm a webtv user and your site is hard to come by, so keep up the great work... ;o}
