Pocket-Monkey is now taking donations! We've decided that we're not going to add "paid memberships" in the near future, and in the meantime the site continues to lose money every month, which just isn't sustainable, and it needs/wants more investment than we're currently able to give it in order to move forward. We've had several people come up to us the last few months asking how they could support the site, and so we've put a donations system in place.
Your donations keep us running (pay for servers, network connections, etc.) and they help us get the time to develop new features for the site! Features like first-class DHTML games (coming soon, we hope!), better game graphics, live chat, clubs, card games, dice games, new games, and more from our 300+ long list of Things To Do.
So if you'd like to pitch in, please drop by the donations page! Donations of any size are gratefully accepted; if you donate at one of the preset levels shown on the donations page (or higher), you can have a "Friend of Pocket-Monkey" badge next to your name! See this FAQ entry for an example.
And if you'd like to leave a comment when you make your donation, we'll by very happy to put that on the donations page to inspire others (if you opt in; you'll see what I mean).

Yes it is about time we players now help T.J. out with running this site. He is not saying pay or you can't play, but we long time players here have been on this site for free for a very long time and now we need to help T.J. T.J thanks so much for this great game site of yours, and I am glad I can help you out. P.S. I also like my little badge.
what about WMZ - WEBMONEY? Create, please,possibility to pay in this money. Your system of calculations doesn't approach me and there can be annoying errors. Simply give purse number - I there will put money.

Naturally, we're still working the kinks out of the system. Normally your badge will get enabled automatically right away, but if not we enable it manually when we get a chance to review the donations.
