Well, that was fun. I'll follow-up with a more detailed message later (edit: here it is), but for now: We're mostly back! And we're in our new home in a different data center with a different company. One that (so far) actually answers their phone.
Please read these caveats:
Older game history (e.g., the ability to view past turns) has not yet been restored. It will be, but right now the only game history available is what you do from this point forward.
We may have to disappear again, and weirdness may happen. Please bear with us in either case.
Timeouts are off and will probably be off for several days.
Thrilled to see you back...missed you. You did a good job of letting us know what was going on, always an unexpected plus when things just 'go away'. Thanks!
So very glad you are back. Missed this site very much. I was going through withdrawals. LOL Anyway thanks for keeping us informed and good luck with your new server.
Congrats on the new home, hope all goes well and you stay online for a while now~!!! Great job you do here TJ & Jock, great site and games~!!!! Keep up the great work and will bear with you any complications that occur cause we love it here
Ty and Jock, and Anyone else Involved :) You've handled this situation so well- with honesty, and keeping us all up to date. I could read your frustration; however you handled it with great aplomb! :) I'm very impressed. Thank you so much for being one of the BEST game sites online! :)

Yayy welcome back TJ missed the site and friends, WS thinking if us all squirming behind the scenes though you did terrific keeping us iin the know,!
To all that missed the site while it was down, you might want to gauge your level of withdrawl and donate accordingly. The higher your level of withdrawl the higher your donation $$ should be :)
I'm so glad you're back. thanks so much for keeping us updated on what was happening there.

Do you have a time frame for when [older game history] is likely to be restored?
The best I can say is "in the next few days" (e.g., days not weeks). I've been making steady progress on it, a milestone every day, and so far so good. (And once it's back, I'll be doing something behind-the-scenes to make this process much faster -- and provide better security for the history information, which has been a "second class" citizen compared to active game data in terms of backups and such -- in the future.) -- T.J. in my opinion it's the best game-site on the net...free or otherwise! besides, it ain't free for me...i proudly pay to play here :-)
We are back.
