Someone's sending out fake email claiming to be from admin@pocket-monkey.com. The email does not come from us (and it doesn't come from our server; my copy came via a server in Portugal).
Most people's spam/virus filters will weed it out, but if you get a message titled "your account" (with some other letters further to the right) with an email attachment, do not open the email and certainly don't open the attachment. Just delete it.
FYI: If Jock or I need to send you email, we won't send an attachment unless we've warned you in advance that we will. -- T.J. Crowder First Primate Pocket-Monkey.com
Re: Spammer and/or Virus Pretending to be admin@pocket-monkey.com
Thanks for the heads-up, Jock and T.J. This kind of thing is getting worse and worse all the time. I recently got an e-mail purporting to be from my own ISP and it wasn't legit either, so you never know what direction a virus will be coming from, it seems. "MyDoom" variants are floating around all over the place right now, so avoid all attachments if you can, guys; those attachments are surely the number one source of virus problems arriving in our computers.
