A bug I thought I should mention that someone found in the Checkers game: It doesn't always force a player to jump when they have to. According to the rules of Checkers, you must jump if you can. This is true at the start of your turn and also throughout your turn -- so for instance, if you jump and then you can jump again, you must jump again. Right now, the Checkers game isn't always detecting that you haven't finished your turn, and is letting people stop in the middle of a jumping sequence if they want to, which is against the rules.
[Side note: When you have a choice of two different jumps, you are free to choose whichever you like. It's a common misconception that you must choose the path that lets you jump the most; you don't. It's just that having started down a path, you must complete it.]
So folks, just as you would when sitting at a Checkers board (which also doesn't force you to finish your turn! :-) ), please finish your turn before you send it. Sometimes that can be unpleasant (finishing a bunch of jumps sometimes means that you've opened up a nice line of play for your opponent), but it's all part of playing the game.
the player has to take a jump and complete all possible jumps
That's a good way to put it, thanks.
The point I wanted to make is that if a player has a choice between two different jumps, he/she is not required to choose the one that leads to the most jumps, which is a common but incorrect belief. It's just that whichever jump he/she chooses, he/she must complete all jumps it leads to. -- T.J. Crowder First Primate Pocket-Monkey.com
I hesistated about repling, there are so many variations in checkers, one has to be quite specific as to which game your are making references about.. I think, however, this site plays American Checkers so those rules should prevail and everyone can find those rules with ease on many other sites as well as here.

Serious bug, old chap!
Add to this that the dark pieces are supposed to move first but this does not seem to (always) happen here.

Even more important: if you post an offer for a draw, you skip one move!
As you know, one move is often the difference between victory and defeat; that moment when a player is forced to move into the hands of his opponent. But by offering a draw, you can get out of the trap.
Then it's your opponent's turn to move, and if he doesn't want to lose by moving into your embrace, his only solution is to offer a draw himself, skipping a turn. Which of course you can then click Accept on, and so you have avoided defeat.
Yes, that's true of all of the games here that allow draws, and it's high on my list for getting fixed. :-) -- T.J. Crowder First Primate Pocket-Monkey.com
This may not be the proper thread for this but i have noticed when a player has only 1 piece left and it is trapped in a corner and cannot move instead of being counted a loss it just allows them to pass.
