I just got a message from mrloupcity saying he won his game with kev. Even though I can't see his message here I am still seeing that the message count for the Round 1 thread has increased by 1, so I'll assume he posted and it was just hidden. I am also thinking that the phenomenon might have been caused because the previous thread was starting to get really big; I am starting a new thread for Round 2 line-up and reporting here.
Nonetheless, this means that Round 2 can now start! As I mentioned when I announced this tournament, Round 2, like Round 1, will consist of a 1 point, regular Backgammon match. I will message those who are to send invites (first player listed in invites). The time limit will be three days--even though I forgot to mention that before in this thread, I was playing with it and I assume most of you went with the default anyway.
oops we may have a problem with that time limit! gridlock sent me the invite but he made it 30 days. I see that it should have been 3 days now. What should we do? Should I delete it and send the message that it has to be 3 days? I haven't heard from him since he sent that message and it has been a number of days! I am waiting on his turn right now. Thanks for a great tourney newguy! :-))

No messages were hidden in a literal sense (mrloupcity's message is here), but perhaps hidden in the way a tree is hidden in the forest, so a new thread is probably the way to go. I've closed the old one so you don't get people replying there instead of here.
To avoid the forest problem, you might suggest that people use the "[Create New Message]" link at the top of the thread to post their results rather than using the "[Reply]" link on messages. (mrloupcity did a reply to your "Matchups & Brackets" post, which is probably why you missed it.)
TJ, would you mind closing this thread to new posts?
