Unfortunately, we're suffering some "growing pains" here at Pocket-Monkey at the moment. It's all of the new tournament games -- and not a few new (and welcome!) players. We've crossed a theshold beyond which things slow down substantially (don't worry, I know what it is). I had hoped to deploy an enhancement today that would address this, but there was a last-minute problem so I couldn't.
I'll continue to work on this. In the short term, I'm ordering more RAM for the database server which should push back that threshold again, and in the longer term I'll fix the problem with the speed enhancement I was planning to do today. Unfortunately my "real job" needs me this weekend so I won't be able to work on it then. :-( But soon.
So apologies for the slowness (again!), but we're working on it.
