Are any of you playing Halma on your TV? It's just I have a report from one user that the board is messed up when shown on the WebTV system, but the emulator program they make available to developers like me shows the board correctly.
I'm pretty sure I know why it's happening (the board is just slightly too big for WebTV and the rows of pieces get messed up), but I wanted to get an idea whether this was isolated or a general thing.
Follow-up: I suspect it partially has to do with whether you're using one of the themes with a really big font size; if I switch to the "WebTV" font, even the WebTV emulator program messes up the game board.
We've updated things so that the Halma graphics are a bit smaller on WebTV so they work correctly with the "WebTV" font size. Right now they're just resized versions of our full-size graphics and so they don't look quite as good as they could (although they don't look bad, at least not in the WebTV emulator); this weekend we'll do graphics specifically for WebTV in the slightly-smaller size.
T.J. Thank you!! The game board is showing okay today and the problem seems to be corrected.
